Cashew
Cashew nuts are the seeds of the cashew apple (Anacardium occidentale), which is a tropical evergreen tree native to northeastern Brazil. Cashew trees are now cultivated in many tropical regions around the world.Cashew nuts are a nutrient-dense food. They are a good source of healthy fats, particularly monounsaturated fats, and provide a fair amount of protein, dietary fiber, vitamins (such as vitamin K, vitamin B6, and folate), and minerals (including magnesium, phosphorus, and iron). They are also a good source of antioxidants, like proanthocyanidins, which have various health benefits.
